Useless Organ Department

I'm sorry to inform you that Bruce was taken to the hospital on Friday and had his appendix removed. All is well and he is happily spending his time on the couch in a percocet haze. I am sure he will be back to Du Nord sometime in the upcoming week.

- Bill (Bruce's brother)

Here's wishing you a quick and healthy recovery. Although I suppose any recovery would have to be healthy. Thanks again so much for helping keep a relatively clueless soccer fan extremely informed. You probably don't hear enough how useful and outstanding the site is. :)

Indeed! DuNord is the anti-appendix of my soccer reading! I guess it's the kidney that filters the web for essential reading. Or something. Get well man.

I would say "God bless you," but that might offend some people who fear hearing other people discuss the deity.

How about if I just say, "Get well soon, so you can return and write about soccer players' looks and hairstyles !"

The value of an Internet site is not just the facts or content included there, but -- in fact, more than that -- the pointers it has to other places on the web. Organic, hand-picked links on a theme make a web site a pleasure to visit; doing this on a daily basis in a tremendously impressive task, and from this viewpoint, dunord is a wonderful site for all fans of soccer in North America. Get well soon, Bruce!

Dude, appendixes suck. They're the worst things ever. When I heard your appendix was acting up, I was like, "that's bullshit!" What a worthless sack.

So sorry to hear about your surgery! I advise you to take it easy and watch as much soccer as possible while you recuperate. But don't watch any tapes of the US in last year's World Cup or you may need another trip to the ER. Get well soon so you can get back to work on this awesome site.

It's those damn creamy hashbrowns at the Local. How can you not blow out your appendix eating that sh*t. Damn dogg. Get well soon. Keep dropping the percocets and you will be singing like Martin: "We shall overcome."
