I remembered I called an Iraqi restaurant to see if they were gonna show the last Asian Cup final. They were so stoked that I was interested. Unfortunately, they didn't know at the time. They later called me back to say that they were gonna show it (at 4am Pacific time!) but I had already made plans for the night before and didn't go to sleep early enough to wake up and drive to the restaurant.

Did you read that the Togo bus was attacked by Angolans today? Adebayor was not injured, but a backup goal keeper and midfielder were. Togo wasn't even Angola's their group stage!

Brucio, so true, your comment about finding a local African restaurant to watch the tournament. I have really enjoyed this tournament as well, the style of play is so much faster than Euro. Hope to see you at the Holy Land Deli, or wherever they may be showing games this time.
Peace and futbol, my friend.

Bruce, right down the road on Lowery, at University is Marina's Deli. This is another fine establishment that always carries the game.
