Minnesota's opponent on Saturday night Real Salt Lake has hired Mike Petke to be its new head coach, but he will not be in charge of the team this weekend. That will still fall to interim and assistant Daryl Shore.

Dallas has signed head coach Oscar Pareja to a contract extension.

Former DC United goalkeeper Charlie Horton has filed a lawsuit against the team, former player Fabian Espindola, coach Ben Olsen and Major League Soccer, for an assault on him by Espindola in Spring 2016 which left Horton with a concussion that has forced him to retire from the sport.
