Harvard rightfully suspended the men's soccer team for the remainder of the 2016 season following an investigation into a "game" the team has played for years where they rate the sexual quality (a “scouting report”) of all new Harvard women's team players, and put those ratings into a report that the whole men's team then received in an email. From the Harvard Crimson.
  • Unintentionally showing exactly what is wrong with the whole program, coach Pieter Lehrer released a statement that read in part... "the team is beyond disappointed that our season has ended in this way."
  • Recognize that his statement did NOT say he was "beyond disappointed" with the actions of his players that led to this. Now that is something to be "beyond disappointed" about.
  • There is nothing on Harvard's Athletic Department website, Facebook or Twitter addressing any of this. Sad.
