- Head coach Alen Marcina resigned and has been replaced by Vallecano assistant Gerard Nus.
- The club management is now engaged is massive cost cutting.
- The mother club in Madrid was relegated from La Liga at the end of last season and is in an overall cost cutting mode.
- Rumors of player revolt swirled, but as of now that has not happened. I am sure they want to keep their jobs.

- He had a very interesting thing to say about the future of the USL: "The USL will definitely become a 2nd Division league and based on how quickly it is growing, could get to a point where it could split into a 2nd and 3rd Division and create Promotion and Relegation between the two. That would be very cool and something fans would love."
