Word came out this afternoon that Clint Dempsey is having a medical exam due to an irregular heartbeat. By Matt Pentz of the Seattle Times.

• Lets hope he is OK. Heart issues sound very scary to me.

• He will not be in uniform for Seattle in their big match on Sunday and most likely not be named to the USA World Cup qualifying roster.

beIN network announced in early June that they would begin to show Conference USA college football on Saturday nights starting Sep 3. But that is in direct time conflict with NASL games that were already scheduled for the whole Fall. What's going on? The NASL says its a minor issue and tweaks to the schedule will be announced soon.
