Its never easy to help someone you care about who has drug and alcohol problems. But when you feel its time to intervene, do it immediately, don't wait to see what happens next. That is what happened with Prince. Those close to him had all the warning they needed a week before he died when he overdosed and they had to make an emergency plane landing to save his life. Instead of taking him home that night they should have taken him directly to a treatment center. Hell, they have incredible facilities right here in the Twin Cities. Some of the best. But they acted too late. Do not be too late with those you care about. Prince's sad ending from the New York Times.
