It's Day 104 of 2016.

What is being done to improve the level of refereeing in MLS? By Aaron Gordon of Vice. Thanks to Grant Wahl for the link.
  • I am pretty referee-neutral. I tend to say that I have found a Zen place for the ref. They make plays good and bad. Some are better or worse then others. I believe it all evens out in the end. I also think that if we held players and coaches to the same standard of perfection we hold the referees that we wouldn't have any teams left. That's not to say that they can't all be better, some considerably, and I hope they work hard to achieve that.
