Minnesota United has signed forward Ismaila Jome. The Brooklyn Park raised 21 year old played for Prairie Seeds Academy and UC-Santa Barbara (where he was listed as a defender/winger.) He is the first Minn Utd signing in a long time that comes to the team without any professional experience. He was the 2012 Minnesota state high school player of the year.

- There are 3 Minnesota players on the teams roster now: Andrei Gotsmanov, Ismaila Jome and Brent Kallman.
- The team still only has 4 defenders on the roster - 2 centerbacks and 2 fullbacks.
