It's Day 70 of 2016.


EDITORIAL: Its my belief that when the PED scandal hits world soccer its going to be the most massive thing in the history of sports. And it will happen in the next couple of years.

  • Jones said he is happy to be playing on real grass in a real soccer stadium. The question remains though, if no one is there to see it was the game played? And I certainly don't blame the people of Denver. This club needs to give fans a reason to be proud and inspired.
  • Germ Jerm still has to sit out a 6 game suspension handed down by the league at the end of last season when he went after a referee in the playoffs. It was quite the scene.

The CEO of Sunderland AFC in England has resigned in the aftermath of a player being found guilty of the sexual abuse of a minor. The CEO had knowledge of the abuse after the fact but let the player remain on the team until police announced his arrest. By Kevin Coulson of Eurosport.
