Some Soccer News for Feb 15, 2016

It's Day 46 of 2016.


Jermaine Jones is stuck in MLS limbo. New England somehow retains his rights in the league even though his contract ended. Jones has no leverage so he posted this on Instagram, then took it down. Luckily Total MLS snagged it.

Twin Cities own Eric Miller has been sold by Montreal Impact to Colorado Rapids.

Odd - Chicago Fire has sent fan favorite and Homegrown signing Harry Shipp was sold to Montreal. He was one of their few productive players the past couple of years.

Is he or isn't he? Obafemi Martins of Seattle Sounders is rumored to be headed to China. No word yet.

Juventus 1-0 Napoli - And with that Juve jumps over Napoli into first place where they will just pull away from the field over the last 13 games. League over.
-Sun Feb 14
Arsenal 2-1 Leicester - even with the win Ars is still #3 (2 pts back) and Lei is still #1 (2 pts ahead)
Man City 1-2 Tottenham - remains #4 (6 pts back) and remains #2 (2 pts back)

PSG has not lost any of their 26 league games this season and have a 24 pt lead at the top. Kick them out of Ligue 1 and it would be a good title chase between 3 or 4 teams.
