Whoa. Good move for Sporting Kansas City acquiring long time Houston Dynamo captain Brad Davis. From the Kansas City Star.
-While Davis is definitely showing wear on his tires he can still be a key cog in a 15-18 player rotation needed by a championship contender.


New court documents show what went wrong with Peter Nowak in charge of the Philadelphia Union. This is a pretty sad story. Jonathan Tannenwald of has been sorting it out since day one.
-Everyone comes out of this with a stain on them.
-Former MetroStars and Philadelphia Union exec Nick Sakiewicz has been hired as the new commissioner of the National Lacrosse League. If you are a lacrosse fan I feel bad for you today.

San Antonio was officially announced as a new USL club today.
-The team is owned by the NBA San Antonio Spurs and have bought the stadium that used to house the San Antonio Scorpions of the NASL, a team that is now fully extinct.
-This new ownership group has but one item on its to-do list: MLS.
