Young RBNY and USA centerback Matt Miazga is on his way to Chelsea. And because he has a EU (Polish) passport he does not need an English work permit. Wow. Jeff Carlisle of ESPNFC fills us in.
-Doug McIntyre of ESPN reported that Miazga has left the USA January camp.

LA Galaxy has signed 35 year old English left fullback Ashley Cole from Roma. No one should forget that he called MLS a "relax on the beach" league.

Landon Donovan's wife gave birth to a new baby today. Huge congrats to them.

San Jose kicks off preseason training - the 2nd year under head coach Dom Kinnear. Lots of injuries. Big things are expected, but this actually sounds kinda grim. By Elliot Almond of the San Jose Mercury News.
