The Atlanta Silverbacks are dead. Long live the Silverbacks. By Doug Roberson of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
-NASL announced late Monday that the Atlanta club has ceased to exist.
-That leaves the league with 3 new teams coming in: Miami, Puerto Rico, Oklahoma City - still don't really know if they are entering in Spring or Fall seasons.
-And now 2 teams going out: San Antonio, Atlanta.
-What was an 11 team league is now a 12 team league.

After several big player losses this off-season Ottawa made a key move by signing both Rafael Alves and Paulo Junior to contract extensions. Very good.
