US Soccer is still using its U17 Residency Program in Bradenton FL to build the sport, but there has been little winning to show for it since year one. By Mike Woitalla of Soccer America.
-In the first year of the program, 1999, the USA finished 4th at the World Cup. "The USA has not managed to win a knockout-stage game at the U-17 World Cup since then."

Steven Gerrard got paid millions upon millions of dollars to play half a season for the LA Galaxy. One of my favorite non-Minnesota players in NASL is Billy Forbes and he just signed a contract extension to remain in San Antonio.
-I was kinda hoping he would move on to a bigger team and/or a higher level league.
