-Real Salt Lake, Santos Laguna and America all advanced to the knockout stage last night.finalizing the list of the last 8 teams. ADDED: Herediano and Tigres face off tonight for Group B spot.
-They join the other group winners: DC United, Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy from MLS, and Quererato andTigres UANL from Liga MX.
-Thisis COULD BE the first time that all 4 teams from MLS and Liga MX have advanced.
-Yes, Vancouver was in the group stage and is from MLS too, but they got there via the Canadian Championship.
-The seeding will be set after this weeks group stage games are completed on Thursday.
-Seeding is based on facts, not opinions, with #1 going to the team with the most points and the best goal differential from the group stage.
-In the Quaterfinals it will be 1v8, 2v7, 3v6 and 4v5.
-Semifinals will be 1-8 Winner v 4-5 Winner and 2-7 Winner v 3-6 Winner.
-The home and away series will begin some time in February.

Hiring the correct personnel for a successful donut retail operation is notoriously difficult.
I wonder what the qualifications are at Dunkin Donuts to become a Taster?
I think Tigres has not technically qualified for the quarterfinals yet. If they lose tonight (at home), then Herediano can still win the group.
As far as the NASL playoffs, it's all set for Minnesota to host the final. Against Fort Lauderdale. After upsets in both first round matchups. You heard it hear first.
