Id love if you could talk in the next podcast about english players and their lack of commitment when signing big contracts and the lack of respect when they are signed to an MLS team.
Beckham's treatment of the league was an embarassment, It reminded of some girls you know who have boyfriends who treat them badly in public, talking down to them, being condescending. That 250million job was NEVER his priority because we all know that he wasnt brought over for his lack of skills (and the one he does, teh FK, was pretty invisible during his stay).

But Defoe wasnt even in MLS half a year and already WHILE INJURED was looking around for an english team, never committing to next season even though his contract is for 5-6yrs. (its one thing american fans dont get, a contract here is pretty much airtight while european ones seem to mean nothing).

And now Lampard is going to stay the whole season in EPL?
Seriously, why bring him in June when he will be tired?
Already i dont think he can last a whole MLS season where he will have to be best scorer, passer, PK taker, corner taker, goal kick taker, physio and announcer.
But throw in a whole season in his aging body AND the fact that playing July-August heat and humiditiy seems to kill the older euro players and this is a bad idea on the field.

Off the field, I think its an even bigger bad idea because once again the league is seen as the leftover thats better than nothing.
Dont expect respect for the league when it keeps allowing itself being treated this way.

The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty -- it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There's a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.
