MLS 2013 Pre-Season Predictions

My predicted finish for the 2013 season:

1 Seattle – no more excuses, and expect to make big signing in summer
2 San Jose – same core, another year together, need to take next step in playoffs
3 LA – lost 1 DP, but will sign another, and will have back line intact all season
4 Dallas – strong forward line and healthy Ferreira
5 Salt Lake – revamped all over the field
6 Vancouver – strong forward line, defense still a question – too old?
7 Portland – new coach, new approach, added some good part, got rid of some bad
8 Colorado – too many questions not answered from last season
9 Chivas - terrible

1 Kansas City – could be even better if new young starters step up and deliver
2 Houston – got better up front, still strong everywhere else
3 Chicago – all new midfield, who knows
4 DC – added by subtraction of older players who did not contribute
5 New York – will this be the head coach to make the difference?
6 Columbus – middle of the pack, not risky enough with signings
7 New England – better then last year, but still now good enough
8 Philadelphia – quicksand of a team
9 Montreal – did not learn lessons from last season
10 Toronto – they stink, for 7th straight year they are starting over

Who from the top half of MLS predictions could disappoint?
-Salt Lake

Who from the bottom half of MLS predictions could surprise?
