I think the delay call against the Canada goalkeeper in the Olympic Women's Soccer Semifinal was totally bogus. OK, so she delayed a little bit, but show me a keeper who doesn't do that with the lead. Terrible call in an amazing game.

Sorry the call was legit you can see the ref telling her to come on numerous times during the game. It wasn't a dead ball the ball and the run of play were live so the ref had two choices card her and give a penalty for the card in the box or give an indirect kick she choose the indirect. OR the goalie drops the ball and the six second clock stops, but its so much easier to blame the ref.

of course by the letter of the law it was legit, but every keeper in every pro game ever played does it and its never ever ever ever called.

it was a bullshit call at that point of huge match and we all know it.
