INCREDIBLE! The Telegraph with an article on the Chairman of the English Premier League at a sports conference in Doha has said that FIFA stole football from the English and ruined it. A little later he fell into a fountain face first in his suit! In am not making this up! Where in the world is the video?
-The Telegraph included this out of context, but still amazing photo of Sepp Blatter looking like some weird tiny King:

Exact same kind of guy, or should we say cut from the same cloth - almost the exact same jib.

Anonymous Nelson Ned said...

Universidad San Martin didn't go out of business.. they actually withdrew from the Peruvian 1st Div. because they were one of the few clubs to pay their players on time but the players still decided to not play the first game of the season in solidarity with the players from other teams who had gone months without being paid. San Martin board took this as a stab in the back from its players and decided it wasn't worth their time keeping the team around and decided to leave the league.

There's been talks about a possible return though..
