A brutal debut at Leeds for Robbie Rogers who came on in the 79th min but left in the 90th with a concussion. Damn. Lets hope he recovers quickly.

In a fairly risky trade on Friday night Seattle acquired forward Eddie Johnson from Montreal in exchange for forward Mike Fucito and midfielder Lamar Neagle. It will be a stiff price to pay giving up 2 solid reserves if Johnson does not pan out.
-Johnson has been running around from team to team like hypnotized chicken since he left Kansas City in 2007.
-Eddie looks like he is in shape to me.

ESPN has suspended commentator Max Bretos 30 for unintended racial slur. In a talking-heads section of an ESPN news program about New York Knicks basketball phenom Jeremy Lin Bretos was heard commenting on the teams first loss during the Lin run asking other commentator is there was a "chink in the armor." It was not said as a Chinese slur, it was said to be an unfortunate idiotic mistake.

Gary Smith, the coach that Colorado fired just 1 year after winning MLS has taken his new team Stevenage into the Round of 16 in the English FA Cup tied Tottenham forcing a replay! Great for him.

Word from Spain is that Argentine midfielder Ever Banega of Valencia suffered a badly broken ankle while he was filling his car up with gas and forget to put it in gear or set the parking break and it rolled over his foot.
-In my opinion Banega was the most impressive player last spring with the USA hosted Argentina against the USA at Giants Stadium.
