TEAM USA - EL EQUIPO DE TODOS

The USA falls 0-1 to Ecuador in Harrison NJ last night. All it took was 1 mental miscue and the scoreless stalemate became a loss.

The one USA player who had a very good game was Oguchi Onyewu. He was literally back to his classic mode from 3 years ago. Just great to see. He even tried to take over the game in the final 10 minutes pushing up to a forward position and going for goal like a striker.

Brek Shea and Tim Chandler were also a strong combo in the left hand side of the field, not as strong as against Honduras but quality.

The USA used all 6 subs but none brought anything new to the field with them.

The attendance of last nights game proves that the low turnout in Miami was not the fault of the locals, but rather the weak marketing efforts of the match promoter.

That's a disturbing article about Red Bull Arena and Harrison. I wish everyone in Ramsey County/Arden Hills would read it.
