The Europe based Court of Arbitration for Sports has turned down Mohammed Bin Hammam's appeal of his lifetime ban from FIFA for corruption.

VERY SAD NEWS

The Press Association reports that fans of both teams in the North London derby this past weekend were heard chanting horrible things at the other team during the game. The two teams have condemned their own fans. What will be done?

“Both clubs were extremely disappointed to hear the chants from supporters at yesterday's game. Neither club tolerates foul language, racist chanting, homophobic chanting or any anti-social behaviour from its supporters. We shall be working closely with each other to identify the individuals involved.”

MLS EXPANSION

Montreal with a press release that tell us they are right into their inaugural season prep and have brought in a lot of players for evaluation, including several names we all know: Jamie Watson, Jeremiah White, Wes Knight and Bratislav Ristic.

-Ristic is the one I would look at the hardest.
-An handful of their NASL players are getting shot at the new roster as well, including Sinisa Ubiparipovic, Ryan Pore and Hassoun Camara who all had really good seasons with the Impact.

AMERICANS IN EUROPE

Edson Buddle scored the games first two goals but Ingolstadt blew leads of 2-0 and 3-1 to lose 3-5 at home.

Clint Dempsey scored the team's 5th goal of the game for Fulham as they ran a dumptruck over Queens Park Rangers 6-0 on Sunday.

Jermaine Jones has worked his way back into the Schalke rotation and while not starting yet, is playing more each game. It would be great to see him re-take his dominant role.

Robbie Findley's manager at Nottingham, Steve McClaren resigned after another terrible game.

Michael Thomas scored his 5th goal of the season at Ljungskile in Sweden's 2nd division.
