TEAM USA - EL EQUIPO DE TODOS

The USA won their first game under new head coach Jurgen Klinsmann on Saturday night, 1-0 over Honduras in Miami Florida.

Two of the more significant changes in this game for the team was the use of a two striker formation (Altidore and Dempsey), and the use of 5 subs (we had previously seen minimal subs.)

Danny Williams got his first cap, starting on the right side of midfield.

Oguchi Onyewu came on as a sub at half time for his first USA appearance since the 2nd game of the World Cup.

Timmy Chandler started at left fullback for the second straight game.

The attendance of 21,000 was better than had been dreadfully predicted earlier in the week.

Jozy Altidore is from Boca Raton just an hour north of Miami and had 300 guests at the game!!!!
