STARTERS

Fox has won the bidding for the USA English language TV rights ($450 Million) for the 2018 & 20222 World Cups. Meaning ESPN is out. And Telemundo gets the Spanish language rights in USA ($600 Million). Univision is out.

dN

New York claimed the last available MLS playoff spot last night.
-Meaning this weekends final games of the regular season are all about seeding! (only 1 game will NOT affect the seeds)
-That eliminates Portland and Chicago.

Matchday 6 - The final round of the Group Stage - Oct 18/19/20

Recap du Nord: LA got the win they needed to edge out Alajuelense on goal differential. And Metapan's win jumps them over Colorado into the very last of 8 knock out rounds positions.

Colorado Rapids is out of the tournament. Leaving 3 MLS teams left.

Only 1 team is not from MLS or the Mexican Primera - Isidro Metapan of El Salvador. Fantastic for them.
