Some News for Tue Sep 6, 2011

REST IN PEACE

Bobby Rhine - long time Dallas Burn and FC Dallas player, and recently FC Dallas match commentator passed away on Monday from a heart attack.

This is just devastating news about someone who seemed like he was really starting to hit his stride after his pro playing career, and he was only 35 years old.

An all around great guy, family man, and true human being.

I did not know Bobby well but he was a very friendly and generous man in person and via email.

His family, friends and soccer in the United States, especially North Texas lost a great one.

All of our best thoughts and wishes go out to those closest to him.

Shine on Bobby!

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the FC Dallas Foundation.
