-The 8 teams who win these series have already been drawn into groups that will begin play the week of Mon Aug 15.

Toronto went Nicaragua last night and played on what can best be described as a pasture, and won, advancing them to the group stage.
-Ryan Johnston scored a walloping goal in the first half to set the tone for TFC's win. See the video highlights here.

Not to take anything away from TFC's effort, but the team they beat didn't look like they could even win a game against any current NASL team.
