STORY OF THE DAY

Kicker in Germany reports that Michael Bradley is out in the cold at Monchengladbach. Having left last spring on a loan deal in hopes of catching on at Aston Villa, the team also moved on. But with a transfer not happening for Bradley he is again the property of Gladbach. The article has statements from club officials: "He wants to get away, so he no role here." And, "He left us in a bad situation (last Spring). Now he can't act as if nothing had happened (and he can come back here)." (Second half of article - all in German)

MATCH FIXING IN TURKEY

Hurriyet reports that Galatasary has now joined the ugliness as they too have been accused of match-fixing. But unlike the other clubs, no arrests were made at this time.
