THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT

Roger Levesque of Seattle did a fantastic goal celebration last night as he sat on the advertisement boards, plugged his nose, and fell over the wall backwards like he was going scuba diving.
-He is still a punk for kicking Minnesota Thunder goalkeeper Joe Warren in the face all those years ago though.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

"The Russian Football Union was preparing to enact an anti-racism campaign memorandum."

The Associated Press reports on Russia's new plan to fight racism in soccer.

"Last year, Lokomotiv Moscow fans unfurled a banner showing a banana directed at the Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie, who went on to join West Bromwich Albion. Russian officials attempted to claim the banner reflected general discontent at the striker and was not a reference to his skin colour."

ENDERS

RIP Costa Rica's 25 year old defender Dennis Marshall died along with his wife in a car accident in Costa Rica. He had played for the past two season with Aalborg in Denmark.

Here is a picture of Marshall battling Conor Casey on that memorable October night in 2009 at RFK Stadium:

Let up on roger already, hmm? He either doesn't remember joe warren, or he sent him flowers and they made nice a while back. Either way, he deserves a du nord break, because the entirety of portland hates him enough already. You know, because he never stops hustling (see abashed gk Sutton, Greg).

By the way, Brucio, why is it that you're still angry at Roger Levesque for allegedly kicking goalkeeper Joe Warren, but you're not still angry at Carlos Ruiz for kicking goalkeeper Kasey Keller during that famous World Cup qualifier in 2001 ?
