As for me, I couldn't care less about how these deals get done. I just want to see my team - NSC Minnesota Stars of the NASL - take to the field come April 9.
Which of course is completely contradictory to the way I usually bark about the way the world should run - rules of equality and full fairness that everyone must adhere to, no exceptions.
So all my logic on this topic is basically run by my emotions and interest in self-gratification. Yes that is what I wrote, but I meant something different from where your dirty little mind is taking you.
I LOVE GOING TO SOCCER GAMES PLAYED BY MY FAVORITE TEAMS. And I don't care how it got done.
And I still want my damn US Open Cup.

Hey -- "The Walls Came Down" isn't corny! Love that song.
"I don't think there are any Russians / And there ain't no Yanks! / Just corporate criminals / Playing with tanks / Ay yi yi yaaaah ya ya ya"
Joe Jordan is such a BAMF. Any player that got headbutted by gattuso would have collapsed in a heap clutching their leg. JJ stood there and took it like a man
So, Gooch is playing UEFA Cup game tomorrow in Kazan, Russia. Temps will be -21 C or -6 F. I heard that the Russian Federation wants to go to the FIFA calendar ... but will any fans want to go to games (outdoors) in the middle of winter? I think not, they'd just as soon go to a hockey game in an arena. Wonder how that'll work out.
