General News

Steve Davis of Sports Illustrated tells MLS teams that some of them could use a good goalkeeper that will cost designated player money, and they would be worth it.

The Supplemental Draft took place today via conference call, which is essentially the SuperDraft Rounds 4 and beyond, until teams don't want to select the rights to any more players.
-The league gives us a full list of which players the teams selected.

COLORADO RAPIDS

Forward Omar Cummings was denied a work permit to go to Aston Villa on a loan deal. End of story.

FC DALLAS

The Dallas Business Journal reports that 4 unnamed companies are in a multi-million dollar battle for a spot on the front of the FCD jersey for 2011.

DC UNITED

The Washington Post with another update on the team's search for a new stadium site in the District.

LA GALAXY

The Galaxy has been able to secure another loan deal on 2 of their 3 Brazilian players from Sao Paolo and will keep central midfielder Juninho & centerback Leonardo, while not renewing the deal for left midfielder Alex Cazumba.

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION

The Rev's signed Seth Sinovic to a new deal. The player was acquired from New York after the season ended. The player was drafted before last season and saw a decent amount of time on the field. Obviously coach Steve Nicol sees something he can work with. Thanks to those who sent me the corrections.

The team has also released centerback Emmanuel Osei from his contract.

NEW YORK RED BULLS

The RB's hired Jan Halvor Halvorsen as a new assistant coach. He was last with Notodden in Norway.

PORTLAND TIMBERS
