Michael Lewis of the Salt Lake Tribune reports that RSL has bought the contract of their on-loan forward Alvaro Saborio, and signed him to a Designated Player sized contract.
-AS came to our big party in Toronto! And he was on the du Nord Best 11 list!
-Real Salt Lake is also saying that they are pulling out all the stops in an attempt to win the CONCACAF Champions League next Spring! Oh yeah!

And the Seattle Times reports on the Sounders signing their forward Fredy Montero to a new 4 year deal. Huge for them. He is now making DP money are well, giving Seattle three.

USA WORLD CUP 2022 BID

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has traveled to Zurich to discuss the issue of travel visas with FIFA. That was one of the main points against the USA in the technical report.

A real eye opener here: Raphael Honigstein of Sports Illustrated gives us the story on why Jermaine Jones has been sent to Schalke's reserve team.
-Remember, last season Jones was out injured as new manager Felix Magath came in, and they finished 2nd without Jones, now they are terrible with him in the lineup.
