Presenting the 2011 Portland Timbers shirt. (click to giganticize) The team's second shirt is the same design but replace the green with firetruck red.

I am a big fan of little details like this (even though I don't think the Rising Sun flag is such a good idea):

That Sounders jersey is the 2011 third kit (replacing the electric yellow methinks...). Fredy debuted it last Friday when they announced his DP signing.

The color is apparently and officially "shale."

Thanks as always for the news, Bruce!

On the timbers new kit, I too, enjoy the finer details ... the rising sun motif 'may' come from a special scarf that the supporters made after the tragic death of (the first) Timber Jim's daughter.

I am sooooo jealous for the Cascadian fans who will once again face eachother in competition.

DIVING HEADER screams the man red faced with drink ....

Peace and futbol.

Come on Bruce. I'm not even a USL/NASL fan, much less a Timbers fan (Galaxy fan myself), and even I have heard about the "Sunshine" tribute they do for Timber Jim's daughter.
