AMERICANS IN EUROPE

Carlos Bocanegra has suffered a neck injury and is expected to miss 3 weeks. He fell awkwardly and sprained the neck muscles. Does that make sense?
-I would say that is injury leaves him very doubtful for the USA trip to South Africa on Nov 17.

AP reports that Marcus Tracy, who has spent the majority of his pro career injured, will be on the shelf for a lot longer with damage to both knees needing healing.

Yanks Abroad reports on a live broadcast in Norway where the announcers thought they were off the air, but were not, and said disparaging things about Steve Clark, an African teammate, and another player. The commentator was not punished, but did personally apologize.
