Some News for Tue Oct 12, 2010

STARTERS

Large scale stupidity in Genoa today as the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier between Italy and Serbia was abandon after repeated attempts to calm Serbian ultras who climbed the fences and hurled smoke bombs at other fans and onto the field. The game was delayed over 1/2 hour to begin with, then abandon after just 6 minutes. The ultras had fought police before the game, then Italian ultras took on the Serbians after the game outside the stadium. What a mess.
