IT MUST BE NOTED

Is it adios to The DCenters?

It is a very sad sight to see one of the earliest purveyors of soccer blogging is all but officially dead - The DCenters.

This site was one of the inspirations in my first months, which became years. The DCenters launched a month after du Nord in the spring of 05. We stumbled upon each other through a mutually friendly site We Call It Soccer (RIP). D seems to have left the blogging team a while back and Oscar and the others carried on for a while. But they haven't posted anything new since January, and I fear the worst. Who knows, maybe it will live again.

And if any of you guys are out there and have any words, news or insights to pass along please let me know. You all have my highest respect in the American Soccer Blogorama.

But for now, good bye my friends!

MY THOUGHTS

LA has stumbled out of the attendance gate with less than 20,000 for the Classico.
-I know both teams played at home last weekend, but it is a city of 12 Million....

dN

How bad is Brian Ching's thigh muscle injury. He sure seemed like he was in a ton of pain as he pulled up grabbed his hamstring.

dN

New LA central midfielder Juninho might now be able to out run my 73 year old mother, who has a bad hip and knee. He is slooooooooooooooow.

dN

How did Fabian Espindola not get a Red Card for that wild headlock takedown manuver he put on Bobby Boswell late in the game? That was a true rodeo move.

dN

Salt Lake chose not to start Robbie Findley. But he came off the bench and added nothing. So, what do they do now.

dN
