Some News for Wed Feb 10, 2010

It looks like Fox, and not their cable channel FX will show the UEFA Champions League final on Sat May 22. Wow.

A very big night for almost all the Americans in England as LD & Timmay beat Chelsea, Spector beats Birmingham, Friedel draws with Man U and Hahnemann beats Tottenham. Only Jozy's close loss kept it from being a clean sweep. Hooray Beer!
-And Freddy Adu get's his first start in Greece. When was the last time he started any game?
-See all the details on those American players in the Americans in Europe section below.

1 Huge congrats to Manny.
2 Now get busy and sign someone!

Marc Narducci of the Philadelphia Inquirer with an article on Union centerback Dan Callif.

Keith Gabriel of the Philadelphia Daily Mail with an article on Union fullback Michael Orozco, who is off to join Team USA today.

KC Wiz forward Josh Wolff checks in with us via the Kansas city Star. How's training camp going?

Michael C Lewis of the Salt Lake Tribune on day 1 from the defending champs of Salt Lake City.

Toronto has acquired centerback Ty Harden from Colorado. I guess you can call this trying.

San Jose has signed a Brazilian left midfielder/forward named Eduardo. The 30 year old who played for Basel in Switzerland the past 4 seasons scoring 11 goals.

That new team for 2011 in Edmonton will not be called the Drillers as I wrote yesterday. They are called FC Edmonton.

Official Team Blog.
(BTW who is this pinhead that is always the first to comment on every single USA blog post? The comments are always inane too. Get a life dumbass. Or is it a 9 year old and I am busting him chops for no reason?)
