Some News for Tue Feb 9, 2010

I had a thought last night that all these injuries to Team USA members right now is actually a good thing. This means that when it comes time for the big games in South Africa all of our players will be rested, repaired and ready to go, while other countries will feel their injuries at the wrong time. I am trying to spin this all positive!

This video has been storming the internets today - A compilation of all 42 international goals scored by Landon Donovan. From 723 Football Films. (thanks to Jimmy for the link)

Peter Wilt at Pitch Invasion does a Q & A with St Louis owner & NASL Commissioner Jeff Cooper.

Coming in 2011 - the Edmonton Drillers. But contrary to what was rumored earlier, they will NOT be affiliated with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
-And they have hired a head coach already too, unlike my Stars who still don't have a coach or any players, and have their first game in 60 days!
