All Twitter addresses with a Chicago Fire bias are burning up today saying that Carlos de los Cobos will be the Fire's new head coach.
-There is also talk that left fullback Gonzalo Segares is not coming back to Chicago for next season. I don't think I had heard that before.

Brad Guzan did it again, saving a Penalty Kick for Aston Villa in a FA Cup match. How many has he saved for them now?

Game Action: (only those that played are listed)

ENGLAND - FA Cup 3rd Round
Jozy Altidore - Hull City - came on as a sub in the 79th minute but lost 4-1 at Wigan.
Jay DeMerit - Watford - went the whole 90 but lost badly 5-0 at Chelsea.
Clint Dempsey - Fulham - played the whole game as they won 1-0 at home against Swindon Town.
Brad Guzan - Aston Villa - went the full 90 saving a PK attempt and won 3-1 at home over Blackburn Rovers.
Tim Howard - Everton - went the distance winning 3-1 at home over Carlisle United.
Frank Simek - Sheffield Wednesday - played the entire match and lost at home 1-2 to Crystal Palace.

ENGLAND - League One
Jon-Paul Pittman - Wycombe - played all 90 in a 0-1 home loss to Norwich City.

SCOTLAND - Premiership
Maurice Edu - Rangers - came on as a sub in the 13th minute for an injury as they drew 1-1 at Celtic.

Stories in the ether have Freddy Adu being loaned out to Aris in Greece (just like Eddie Johnson), and Hull City in England (just like Jozy Altidore.) My money says it's neither.
