ENDERS

The film adaptation of David Peace's great book The Damned United, which is the wild story of fabled manager Brian Clough's 44 days in charge of Leeds United, opens on Oct 9 in New York and LA, and rolling out to other markets across the USA after that.
I suggest you go get the book and read it asap. The style of prose is fantastic, with a very unique rhythm to a mad cap story that I really enjoyed.
The movie stars Michael Sheen as Brian Clough, the guy who played Tony Blair in The Queen, and David Front in Frost/Nixon. He is a pretty good actor. Can't wait to see it.

I had read online somewhere recently that Arturo Alvarez's application had been expedited by FIFA because he had unsuccessfully applied for the switch twice before they changed the rule.
