From US Soccer, about Confed Cup: "...the U.S. team will be wearing an all-white strip through the three group matches. FIFA determines the uniform colors for each match based on which team is designated the 'home' team..."
dN
For the 3rd Group Stage game at the Confederations Cup ESPN Network has moved our own team the USA to ESPN2 and will show Italy v Brazil on their main ESPN channel. How much of a slap in the face is that? That tells you exactly how much they care about the state of the game in this country. Very little. They just want to make their buck, and they should be more upfront about that.

Airline Jet Blue will unveil a plane painted with the Real Salt Lake logo on the outside tomorrow! No pictures yet, but hopefully soon. Very cool.

Re: Espn Bitch Slap
-yet people get all pissy when they found out that FSC won the bidding for Champions League! For real soccer fans this is the greatest thing to happen as we already have FSC and now we will get to see a majority of the games rather than just a few on obscure channels some of us may not even get.
Soccer off of ESPN might not be good for the "sport" but for the fan it is a godsend.
Wow, that South Africa article clearly made up some nice quotes. Do we really believe Bob Bradley said, "We will be playing great football. We know that our first match will be challenging, but because we consider ourselves as the best national team, we are going to battle it out to ensure that we pave the way to the semi-finals." Yep, sounds like Bradley to say we're the best national team...
