Some News for Thu May 14

STARTERS

Matt Scott at the Guardian has what appears to be a massive-future-chance-for-MLS article. He claims that the leagues long term plan is to merge with the FMF into one big league. Wow. The article is mostly about Mexico's fallout with CONMEBOL over Copa Libertadores matches being complicated by the Swine Flu Scare last week, and includes information that says MLS tried to offer sites in the USA where those now canceled games could have been played, but CONMEBOL said no. So how much of this article do you think is true, and how much is English hot air?
