Minnesota Thunder Season Opener - Sat May 2
Join me as my team, Minnesota Thunder, play the 1st home game of the new season
Saturday May 2
National Sports Center in Blaine
Kick off is at 7pm
And you should be there!
You can sit in the North End for just $5!!!
(Fellow fans have humbled me by dubbing it the Stand du Nord. Wow!)
And you can bring your kids (under 18) to every game for a grand total of $20 (full season pass).
There are no excuses.
Inside Minnesota Soccer with a special report on the brand new massive beer garden just built at the stadium. And it sits on the north end-line!
Tailgating begins at 4pm on the grassy knoll just north of the main entrance.
The opponent this weekend is the defending league champs from Vancouver, who the Thunder nearly knocked out of the playoffs last year, losing 5-4 on aggregate. (Still rueing that late goal given up on the road in the first leg)
