Donovan To Bayern On Loan?
Still A Rumor!
The word is that Bayern Munich will sign Landon Donovan of the LA Galaxy on a loan deal that begins in January and goes to mid-March, and potentially longer. Bayern supposedly wants him till the end of their season.
Donovan scored both goals yesterday in a Senior team v Reserve team game that the senior side won 2-1. Last week in a similar set up he scored 4 goals in a 6-1 win.

From what I've read on German websites, this has been verbally agreed on and it will be finalized on Sunday.
