Official - Barcelona Wants MLS Team In Miami
FC Barcelona team president Joan Laporta will be in Miami on Wednesday to officially launch a bid for a MLS team.
This announcement comes directly from the teams website.
Barca would partner with the person who owns the club Bolivar in Bolivia.
They would play home games at Florida International University.

Interesting...considering that Nike is involved with Barca, does that mean that Barca is switching to adidas? I don't think Nike would take too kindly to this...any thoughts on it?

No offense to football fans in Miami, MLS did you dirty, but I just don't see how having FC Barcelona involved makes any difference in overcoming the challenges of making a mark in South Florida.
