Hi everyone...

We are just one week away from the Twin Cities Nothing But Nets Fundraiser!!

When: Sunday, September 14 at 5 p.m.
Where: Nomad World Pub, 501 Cedar Ave., Minneapolis
What: A grassroots effort to raise money to combat malaria. There will be food, drink, music and a silent auction.
Why: Because more than one million people needlessly die from malaria each year.

Admission: $10 -- the price to purchase and distribute one bed net.

Thunder players will be there to support this effort.

There will be live music by seven-piece kung fu funk outfit Cheetah Nunchuck

Some of the wonderful items we have for the Silent Auction:

Signed soccer ball by Samuel Eto'o
Charleston Battery (autographed ball)
Chicago Fire (autographed ball)
DC United (autographed ball)
Autographed picture of Adrian Peterson
Bracelet made by Robyne Robinson - Channel 9 anchor
"Tea, Cookies and a Tour" with Mark Wheat - dj/host The Current 89.3
Two Minnesota Thunder jerseys
Arsenal Jersey
Soccer balls and equipment
Gift certificates to: restaurants and Look + See eyewear.
An outing for (4) with golf cart to NSC's executive course.
Twins tickets
Acme Comedy Club (free admission for 10 people)
Rock Band for Wii
...and more.

Please join us on next Sunday (September 14th) for a great event to help fight malaria.

If you can't make the event, you can still contribute to our campaign Twin Cites Nets. There is a spot there to contribute privately if you so desire.

I hope to see you next Sunday and if you can't make it, I truly hope you will consider donating to this very worthy cause.
