MLS 2008 All Star Game News

Unless a DC player is added to the team due to injury or national team call up it will be the first time they have not had a player on the All Star team. And Luciano Emilio deserves to be on that team. He is having a better season then 2/3's of the players already named.

It was a fun night at my teams new home against the English competition. Its a great place to watch a game thats for sure. But neither team took this game seriously, and instead of wide open attack, we got dull defense and slow builds out of the back. Oh well.

After the game there was a nice party in downtown Minneapolis, and I was introduced to Ethan Zohn. He was in town promoting his project Grassroot Soccer. And he is working on some very cool stuff that I will write about in the next few days. He is one of the good guys.
