I see where SUM, who run this tournament, have skimped on another field and again look cheap & minor league. This time it was the field at Titan Stadium in Fullerton CA that had virtually no grass on it. Just awful. Between the extremely dry & thin pitches at Houston's Robertson Field and LA's Home Depot Center, this one in Fullerton gets the first booby prize for worst condition. They should be embarrassed.

Luis Bueno has an article for Sports Illustrated about some Mexican players and coaches growing respect for MLS. SuperLiga really helps to enforce this. Some great quotes here.

The Oklahoma News with a story on 3 members of the Rev's staff who subdued a passenger who was acting erratically (took all his clothes off) and tried to open the emergency exit door in mid-flight from Boston to LA. General Manager Craig Tornberg, Player Personnel Director Mike Burns & Assistant Coach Gwynne Williams tackled the guy and held him down while he was secured. The plane landed in Oklahoma City and the man was removed from the flight. The man was clearly disturbed mentally. What a horrible situation.
