Grasp The Top Of The Beauty Ladder News

What was up last night during the Columbus v Kansas City game with announcer John Harkes calling Guillermo Barros Schelotto, "guh-LAIR-moe", the whole game. Was he kidding? Was it an inside joke? Did no one on the production staff tell this guy how to pronounce a name? His TV partner JP Dellacamera got it right. Weird.

I think Brasil has used the spray 'paint' to mark off the 10 yards from free kicks ... I worked a game with a visiting Brasilian referee several years ago, and he had a holster with the stuff ... very effective to immediately set the line, then book anyone who lolly gags and continues encroachment.

Keep up the great work, Brucio.

LS, agree. Coached a team in a tournament with a Brazilian ref and he had the same holster and spray can. It's decisive and there's no arguing or infringing. It disappears after about 30 seconds. It's so simple I don't understand why this isn't standard equipment for all refs. I asked the ref about it after the game and he said he loved it. It sped the game up and kept arguing after wall placements to a minimum.

Re: Xavier

Team's can negotiate with a player to make his contract month-to-month prior to the July "guaranteed contract deadline." DC United did it with their 2nd goal keeper, Jose Carvallo, then fully released him today. Perhpas LAG did the same thing with Xavier, and Houston with Carracio.

Brucio, if we can get Harkes to properly pronounce Guillermo's name, will you agree to use proper punctuation and FINALLY learn the proper use of an apostrophe ?

Is it a deal, big guy ?

Ha, ha, ha.

The paint has and can also be used to mark where the ball should be - so players can't move it forward while the wall is being set.
