In the KC camp, there is probably more behind Eloy's leaving than homesickness, earlier quotes talk about how Eloy is the happiest person on the team and now he's leaving because he's not. Some kind of falling out happened.

hooray for ibrahim. Hope it works out for him in Toronto. I wonder if the Thunder discussed a loan with dallas. Would have seemed like an obvious option.

Grahm,
Eloy was just married this last offseason and became a father for the first time a few weeks ago. The family lives in Argentina not here. There's pressures there that didn't exist before especially if he could earn a living there at home vs halfway across the planet sitting on the bench. The Wizards gave him a raise in the offseason but continued to start/sub behind an asstacular player like Ryan Pore instead. What's the point in staying? The Wizards agreed. He never got a fair shake. Really no contraversy here.
